This workhorse will be your go-to pan. The deep sides and wide flat bottom make cooking almost anything a breeze. Add the vented, heat-tempered glass lid and you can steam without having to lift the lid to see how your food is cooking. You can even put the pan and lid in the oven to finish it off or keep it warm. Our nonstick surface is coated with real diamond crystals, making it naturally nonstick and very durable. The pan itself is made from cast aluminum, so it heats quickly and evenly. Suitable for use on Solid Plate, Radiant Ring, Ceramic, Halogen, or Gas cooktops. Oven safe up to 500° F. The Swiss Diamond HD coating is its new and improved advanced technology that is reinforced with real diamond crystals. This coating develops a ground-breaking non-stick surface that allows you to cook without any additional oils. The HD line is easy to clean and maintain, and it is guaranteed to last a lifetime. PFOA-free, the Swiss Diamond HD line is best suited for any ceramic, gas, or electric heat source. The line features the patented diamond crystal-infused coating. This technology came to exist because: diamonds are extremely durable, giving the coating more resistance; diamonds function better as a heat conductor since it is four times more conductive than copper and creates a perfectly balanced heat distribution, and diamonds have natural non-stick properties.

Care

• Do not use sharp utensils or abrasive cleaners, as this may damage the coating.
• Use only low to medium-high heat settings. Never use the highest 25% of heat settings on your stove top.
• For example, if your stove has heat settings from 1 to 10, never use a heat setting higher than 7.5.
• Clean your pan thoroughly after each use with warm soapy water.
• No oil is needed with a Swiss Diamond pan! If you choose to use butter or oil for flavor, use on the proper heat setting.
• Oils heated above their smoke point will break down and deposit carbon on the cooking surface.
• Do not store acidic or high-sugar foods in your cookware, as this may damage the coating.
